Delivery Driver

Key Responsibilities:

– Timely Deliveries: Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders to customers while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
– Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers during deliveries and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
– Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition, reporting any issues to management.
– Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption, utilizing GPS and mapping software as necessary.
– Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs, and handle any necessary paperwork related to shipments.
– Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and company policies while driving and handling products to ensure a safe working environment.
– Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

– Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably within a retail or logistics environment.
– Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English and Maltese is required to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
– Driving License: A valid driving license with a clean driving record is essential.
– Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer experiences.
– Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple deliveries efficiently.
– Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think quickly and resolve issues that may arise during the delivery process.
– Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift and carry packages as needed, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
