The annual Festa ta’ Ġenerożità once again brought the people of Malta and Gozo together in a remarkable display of generosity in support of Id-Dar tal-Providenza, raising a total of €1,556,453 on New Year’s Day. This fundraising marathon, one of the charity’s most important events; was broadcast live from under the large tent set up in the Home’s car park in Siġġiewi and began with a Mass celebrated by Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna.
Throughout the day, the event featured a traditional art auction of paintings, sculptures, and ceramics donated by local and international artists, bringing in €49,229. Special parish collections from communities across Malta and Gozo contributed further to the total.
We are proud to be part of this year’s initiative and presented a donation of €3,000 on the day, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the vital work of Id-Dar tal-Providenza. These funds will help this noble charity continue providing care, dignity and residential services to people with disabilities throughout the year.
