In support of Caritas Malta’s annual fundraising telethon, My Group has proudly donated the sum of €15,000, to help sustain the organisation’s vital work within Maltese communities. This contribution forms part of the impressive total of €376,501 collected during the 12-hour event.
Speaking during the presentation, Andrew Attard, Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors, explained how the entire team behind MyConvenience and MySupermarket, shares a collective vision of giving back to society. “Our team believes that business success goes hand in hand with social responsibility. We’re proud to stand with Caritas in their mission to offer care, dignity, and hope to those in need,” he said.
Andrew also announced the imminent launch of The Sandra Calleja Foundation, which will serve as a dedicated platform for My Group’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. Through the Foundation, the Group aims to coordinate long-term efforts in support of local charities, community wellbeing projects, and national causes.
Founded in 1968, Caritas Malta continues to provide crucial assistance to individuals and families facing social, financial, and health-related difficulties. Its services range from rehabilitation and counselling to community outreach and poverty relief, helping countless people rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
