As a Shop Manager within the special trade (key account) shop, the employee is responsible for the whole of operation of the Shop. The Senior Shop Manager leads the team to run a smooth operation.
Customer Care
- All customers arc being always given an excellent customer care experience.
- Any customer suggestions or complaints are followed up accordingly.
Products
- All shelves must be stocked according to company guidelines.
- Ordering of stock to make sure that adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Checking deliveries against invoices to make sure that all Items have been received according to what have been ordered.
- Making sum that all hems listed on the invoice have been delivered.
- AU prices ate updated and checked continuously to make sure that they are correct and that all products have their price displayed.
- Monitor stocks and take active part in the stock taking process.
Meeting targets
- Achieving Sales targets
- Achieving bottom line targets
- Working on increasing number or receipts and average spent
Reports
- Compiling rosters according to shop needs to be adequately always staffed whilst keeping hours within the budgeted hours.
- Filling up daily sales reports as requested
- Preparing reports that might be requested from time to time.
Leading Employees - Leading by example at all times and set Me standards of operation among the team.
- Making sure that the team is working in an efficient and effective manner,
- Monitoring team performance and conduct the necessary performance evaluations.
Identifying individuals that have potential for advancement and liaise with Hit department to plan their training. - Inform Human Resources on any changes in employee statuses.
Policies and Procedures
- Making sure that all Health and Safety Policies are adhered to.
- Monitors that all checklists are filled in correctly and in a timely manner.
- Makes sure that all company policies are implemented and followed.
Others
- All areas are kept tidy and clean at all times.
- Support other outlets in any help might need.
- Identify local market trends & monitor competitors.
- Visit the shop in emergency situations.
- Spot checks of cashes to make sure that they are not over or under
- Following up on any action points related to financial or operational performance highlighted by senior management.
